SMS Consent and Messaging Disclosure

This page documents how os8 and participating clinics collect SMS consent for appointment availability alerts. It is the public disclosure page used for A2P campaign verification and patient-facing policy review.

Effective date: February 19, 2026

Consent Collection Flow

  1. Patient enters a mobile number during booking or intake.
  2. Patient must actively check an unchecked SMS consent checkbox.
  3. Before submitting, the patient sees disclosure text covering message frequency, message and data rates, opt-out and help instructions, and links to Terms and Privacy Policy.
  4. The system stores consent metadata including timestamp, source page, clinic identifier, and disclosure text version.
